The user interfaces are pretty much the same for all three, with the real distinctions among them being under the hood. It doesn't sound like that's what you want to do. Shredder Chess comes in three versions for the Mac: Shredder Classic 3, Shredder 11, and Deep Shredder 11. It would only make a difference if you had multi-cpu hardware and were doing state-of-the-art analysis. ![]() It seems to me that Deep Shredder is massive overkill for your needs.
